TACFINDER belongs to the family of Command and Control for ground forces, available in different versions for combat units of the Army and Marine units, and has been tested effectively in conditions of "combat stress" under demanding and harsh environmental and operational conditions, with excellent results.

The version for Marine units has the capability of geolocation of the own forces and the opposing forces on digital mapping, military charting, exchanging of text messages, photos, files and working on different mapping formats.

The version for ground forces was developed to support the Land Forces Command in planning and conducting its operations and activities in the operational and tactical field, respecting the doctrines, procedures and requirements of each particular client.

This version includes the following modules:

1. Operations module:

Allows the combat unit commander to plan and conduct the tactical actions planned. It consists of the following submodules:

Planning Submodule: Allows the unit commander and the commanders of its subordinate units, to make the process of planning of the missions and tasks, providing the tools to build graphic commands and the synchronization matrix.

Leading Submodule: It allows the commander to contrast the planning carried out with the actions effectively executed in the Operation Theater, giving the Commanders, among others, the following capabilities:

* Send and receive messages and orders.
* View in the picture, the position of the own forces and the graphics orders.
* Incorporate tactical elements.
* Perform distance and azimuth calculations.
* View site sections and profiles.
* Perform analysis of visual range.

2. Intelligence module:

It allows the registration, evaluation, dissemination and deployment of the existing intelligence on the level of the Own Forces (Book Orden de Batalla), in text and photographs format, when planning the operations and actions. It also provides tools that incorporate intelligence information gathered during the development of actions.

3. Personnel module:

It allows keeping the relevant information of the staff on his command updated, handing tools to electronically generate the Party of Forces with Casualty Reports and Orders for replacement. Similarly, the received reports from subordinate units and the ones referred to the top step, allow a comprehensive and integrated view of the Status State of the Own Forces (Private).

4. Logistic module:

Allows to build the Normal and Special Parts Order of each subordinate unit, reporting to upper echelon the status in electronic form and the supply needs for each logistics entry, including rations, fuel, water and ammunition, additionally allowing consolidated reporting of the Logistics Status o fthe Own Forces.

5. Communications module:

Allows the transmission and reception of data (documents, messages, files, polls and alarms) generated between the units attached to the Command and Control system. It also allows the automatic and wireless integration of information coming from laser rangefinder and the integration of tactical radios from different vendors.

Relevant features

  • Flexibility: It has the ability to configure according to the mission and the magnitude of the Unit. Specially adapted for training in cabinet.
  • Scalable in time: It has the ability to continue to grow over time to higher levels and to subordinate units.
  • Great performance: Considers the centralization of information almost immediately ("Just in Time") which facilitates the decision making of the commanders in the battlefield.
  • Modular Configuration: Its modular configuration allows the ability to work independently with each of the applications that it counts.
  • Open Architecture: Enables the integration of other systems, by developing ad-hoc interfaces that incorporate into the system as required.
  • Portable: Can be installed on different hardware platforms according to the employment characteristics of each weapon and service.
