Description

The SMC STRIKE for Aircrafts, allows coordination and transfer of tactical information between units of a Task Force, provides the tools required to maintain a common tactical picture between them and allows the trans-horizon designation of one or more targets to other units.

The transfer of tactical information (picture, messages, text, and other data) between two or more units of a force, is performed through its Data Link module, which enables to establish one or more communications networks that can operate simultaneous HF, VHF, UHF bands and satellite.

STRIKE System allows to efficiently integrate additional equipment, such as kinematic sensors, radar, sonar, weapon systems and video camera, thus enhancing their capabilities.

In its high resolution graphical interface, the system concentrates and displays tactical information entered by the operator with the information received via Data Link from other units, as well as information acquired through the sensors of the platform. The display of these items is done on standard mapping selectable by the operator.

The interface (MMI) allows an easy and friendly operation, with a display of clear and timely information. To achieve this, a careful selection of symbols and colors has been made, defining areas of deployment of data suitable for operation in low light environments.
